Community Blessings

This year TVC is doing something different then what we have done before.  There are many options for you to participate in being a blessing at the Christmas time in your community.  When we choose to serve those around us, we are choosing to live like Jesus and share the blessings we have with others.

Each campus has a list of there own activities that they will be doing, to be a blessing in their community.

Life Groups

If you are a part of a life group or a life group leader we are asking that you and your group do something within your reach.  Connect with people in your group, or in the community surrounding your group.  Choose to see a need and meet that need of those around you.  We want to be intentional about creating relationships with those around us and connecting people with God.  You and your group can participate by clicking this link and filling out the form.  Let us know how you are being a blessing this Christmas.

Delton:

Christmas time seems to offer an abundance of ways that we can be a blessing to our community.  We are aware that our loudest message is not what we say, but what we do.  So, this year, TVC Delton is partnering with local organizations to serve and bless our community.  We invite you to join us in choosing 1 or 2 of the following ways to participate:
1)      Delton residents come out yearly to enjoy the festivities of A Hometown Christmas.  TVC Delton will be joining the festivities this year with a float in the parade.  Come ride the float with us Friday, December 8 at 6:00.
2)      How well do you know the Delton area?  A Hometown Christmas would not be complete without a Delton scavenger hunt.  Think you know the area pretty well?  Then join us in running the scavenger hunt for a couple hours on Saturday, December 9 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.

3)      Adult Foster Care is a group home that provides care for adults who are unable to live on their own. It allows them to maintain their independence with social activities and travel.  This Christmas season we are throwing Adult Foster Care a party, complete with cookies, music, and gifts.  You can join the party on December 16 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. You can also pick a tag from the tree to purchase a gift for a resident.

Signups and tags are at the Christmas Blessings table in the lobby.  We hope you’ll join us in celebrating the birth of Jesus by being a blessing to our community.

If you would like to give towards the event, you can text CBD to 269-558-4592 or stop by the Community Blessings table in the lobby.
